"Two and a half men": Three girls and a guy named Bud

"Two and and half men"  Is a hilarious comedy with a lot of sexual humor. It contains a rich uncle  Charlie Harper  also known as Charlie Sheen, Allen Harper a.k.a Jon Cryer  the Chiropractor and over sensitive father depressed from his divorce from his ex wife Judith, and Angus T. Jonesgoes by the name of Jake Harper as his character. This show is mostly for the audience of young adults and up for its sexual content. So a recap of our show shall we? Spoiler alert if u read on you will read what happens if you would rather watch first do so now.

We start with a seen of Allen Harper in bed with Lyndsey a.k.a Courtney Throne-Smith, and waking up from his watch alarm. How classic and so like him to have a dorky watch to waking him up. Of course all he can think of is having sex so he asks for a "quicky". It's early in the morning of course not. What a horn dog right? Next seen opens with Allen opening the door to his brothers beach house in Malibu and seeing him laying on the stairs to his bedroom; no pants just shirt, boxers, socks, and shoes. Isn't this typical Charlie Harper just partying a little to hard. Really its hilarious but how old is he now is he even allowed to get drunk like that anymore?
Charlie and Allen have a discussion about what they had been doing and the night before and of course Charlie can't remember but when Allen is asked he guiltily responds that he was with Lyndsey  and just got back to hide from Jake that he has been sleeping with his best friends mom. Ooh no now that's messed up on his part. One because he is sneaking around but two that could ruin his relationship with his friend and lets admit its not like he has many. Allen was just about to finish his thought of Jake being a little unsophisticated about adult sexual relationship when he sees not one but two girls sneak out of Jake's room. Whoa now how does this happen Jake is out doing his father and we do not even know if this was the first time, how is he going to pull this one? Turns out Tiffany and Joann were just friends and wanted to surf early in the morning so he slept on floor, or did he?
Allen is satisfied with his explanation but when he tells Jake he should have asked but was no where to be found he lies and comes up with an excuse that he was at the gym. Yeah right at the gym with Lyndsey in her bed. I don't not like that he is lying but he does need to tell Jake soon be for Jake finds out for himself... (foreshadowing).

Allen decides to play with fire some more and goes to Lyndsey's house to sleep with her again when Eldridge yells that he is home. Looks like Allen's going to get what's coming to him, a rottweiler to the crotch. I didn't know they were attracted to the sent of whipped cream until this show which could and could not be true. Getting home he tells Charlie his eventful afternoon and finds out he has decides when you try to send your pants to a garment inspector in Malaysia its time to stop drinking, so he says. Instead gets drunk off of beer.
Jake gets home upset and rightly so he just found out his dad was lying to him his friend doesn't want to be his friend anymore. Jake goes running to his mommy's house like the spoiled brat he is and Allen sees he did wrong. Funny how it all worked out. Sensitive Allen has to apologize to his son so he goes to visit at Judith's house and gets yelled at by her. She is so mean i do not like her Character in the show but I suppose there has to be one party poop er. Herb (Judith's husband) wants to know everything of how Allen ended up hooking up with Lyndsey and tells them both a little gossip about her. Kind of a dork but a nice little neutral party to the show I like his character. Jake accepts the apology but before they leave Charlie sees two girls sneak out of the house, he is so proud of his nephew. Allen and Lyndsey decide to put it all on the table and want the two boys Jake and Eldrigde to be straight up with them.
Good ending but who couldn't have guess what was going to happen. Still it was a terrific premier and a great way to start of a new season. The humor is the same and the jokes just keep on coming just the way I like it and the way 'Two and a Half Men' fans say they want it. They agree that it was a good kick of to a new season.

  1. I don't follow the show, but your review made since to me and did i good job at filling me in. I wasn't lost at anytime. The tone was informal which is good. I noticed some grammar mistakes. Also you did a lot more recaping than reviewing and giving opinions. But overall good job.

  2. This is a good review overall! You could have given a little more background information about previous seasons for the people that don't watch the show. There were also a few spelling and grammar errors. However the recap of the episode was good. It was good that you put the spoiler alert in the beginning of the review. Your links were good as well. You have made the show seem very funny and one to look into to watch!

  3. armando--

you have a lot of description and summary of the show that comes across well, and you make a great effort at a conversational tone. You do struggle with grammar and sentence structure inhibiting the flow of your thoughts and ideas.
